The Ready Heat II air heated blanket is designed specifically as a first responder blanket to treat shock and hypothermia in the field. Warms to a minimum 100 degrees (F) in 10 minutes after opening and will maintain its minimum heat temperature for 6 hours. Individually sealed in an oxygen-free poly bag, the integrated heating element is activated when exposed to oxygen. Simply open the bag to start the warming process. The foam core blanket ( 34" X 48") contains 12 heating elements, is lightweight (1.5 lbs) and comfortable. Sealed blanket has 3 year shelf life.
